Are dog licenses required in the Village of Suamico?
Yes, licenses are required by the State of Wisconsin. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for issuance of the license. The Dog License Application can be found here or under Licenses, Permits, & Forms under Clerk's Department. Please complete the form and bring the application, along with proof of rabies vaccination and required payment, to the Municipal Services Center, 12781 Velp Avenue, to apply. The cost of a dog license is $10.00 for neutered or spayed dogs and $25.00 for non-neutered or non-spayed dogs. The deadline for the annual license application is March 31. Any license requested after March 31 will be charged an additional $5.00 per dog. You are allowed 3 dogs per residence.

Yes, a burning permit is required for burning brush/yard waste piles year round in accordance with the Village Ordinance 4.19. No permit is needed for a campfire pit, portable fire place or chiminea. Yes, in accordance with the Village Ordinance 4.18, permits are required for selling and for recreational use. Permits can be obtained at the Municipal Services Center, 12781 Velp Avenue, during normal business hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Application forms should be submitted at least 10 days prior to the date of the fireworks display.
