A listening session is an informal meeting between residents and two members of the Village Board. Each is an hour in length and occurs every three months. They are held at the Suamico Municipal Services Center, 12781 Velp Avenue, Suamico 54313. The dates of these sessions will be determined by the Village Board and, as the date approaches, will be announced on our home page. If you would rather have an email sent to you announcing the next session date, you can sign up by going to our home page and registering under Sign Up Here for Emailed Updates, then choosing Listening Sessions.
Listening sessions were developed to increase communication between the Village Board and residents of Suamico. Residents can attend the sessions for one minute, a half hour, or the whole time if they wish. They can speak or simply listen to other residents. Two members of the Village Board will be in attendance at each session to field questions and comments. Please understand decisions will not be made at this venue. If a resident's question or comment cannot be answered at the time of the session, it could possibly become an item on a future Village Board agenda to be discussed by the entire board. If you have any questions regarding these sessions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (920) 434-2212.
