A RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF municipal recycling material disposal WITH BROWN COUNTY, WISCONSIN

WHEREAS, Brown County Port & Solid Waste has and continues to provide a regional collection site or Municipal Recycling Facility (MRF) for sorting and disposal of recyclable materials, and

WHEREAS, to be effective in this operation they need dedicated users as sale of materials collected is the basis of their income, and

WHEREAS Brown County is asking all local municipalities to continue with their long standing history of using their collection site as the dedicated MRF, and

WHEREAS, the Village of Suamico deems recycling collaboration to be in its best interest.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Village of Suamico, Brown County, Wisconsin:

That the Village of Suamico is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement for the Provision of Municipal Recycling Material Disposal with Brown County and participating municipalities; and that the Village President and Clerk are authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the Village of Suamico.

THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Board declares this agreement to be effective January 1, 2008 and effective through December 31, 2022.
