A RESOLUTION CHANGING POLLING PLACE LOCATIONS

IN THE VILLAGE OF SUAMICO

WHEREAS, the Village has used two polling place locations, the Village Hall, located at 2999 Lakeview Drive and White Pine Fire Station, located at 2323 Northwood Road and

WHEREAS, the number of voters in the Village has grown making it more difficult to conduct elections at these locations, and

WHEREAS, it would be advantageous to move the polling place locations to relieve the overcrowding to larger facilities to accommodate the larger number of voters and

WHEREAS, the Village has determined that the use of Calavera Park Shelter located at 2694 Flintville Road, (CTY M) for wards 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 and

WHEREAS, the Village has determined the use of Idlewild Park Shelter located at 1500 Cotton Drive (formerly Idlewild Road) for wards 1, 2, 3, 7 & 10.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board hereby designates the use of Calavera Park Shelter to replace the White Pine Fire Station and the use of Idlewild Park Shelter to replace the Village Hall to serve the needs of the electorate for all future elections, unless specifically voted otherwise by the Board; and

BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED, that Calavera Park Shelter will be used for Wards 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9; and that Idlewild Park Shelter will be used for Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 & 10.
