MINUTES

Call Meeting To Order Chair Sheedy called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM

  • Commission members present: Chair Sheedy, Commissioner Salemi, Commissioner Magray, Commissioner Zastrow, Commissioner Thomson.
  • Commission Members absent: Commissioner Wagner, Commissioner Robb
  • Staff present: Steve Dunks, Zoning Administrator, Graham Callis, Community Development Director, and Abby Villars, Deputy Clerk
  • Approve Agenda

    Motion by Commissioner Thomson to approve the agenda as submitted. Second by Commissioner Salemi. Motion carried 5-0

    Consent agenda

     

    a. Approve the Minutes of the Wednesday, February 27, 2008, Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting

    b. Extraterritorial reviews: Johnson CSM

    Motion by Commissioner Zastrow to approve the consent agenda with the correction to the previous minutes under item 7 changed from a fence to a berm with vegetative cover.

    Second by Commissioner Thomson.

    Motion carried 5-0

    Public Forum (non-agenda items): Anything, which may be brought before the Plan Commission, for which no referral shall be made or action shall be taken.

    No one spoke.

    Discussion/Recommendation: Approval of a 2- lot Certified Survey Map for Midwest Expansion, as submitted by Dennis Reim, Robert E Lee & Associates. Located east of Waterway Court on the north side of Lineville Road. Parcel SU-765. Zoned HWY Business w/PCD overlay.

    Motion by Commissioner Magray to recommend approval of the CSM for parcel SU-765 subject to the following conditions:

    c. Addition of a note that addresses any access, maintenance, and parking agreements that are in place.

    d. Addition of the note addressing the bike path as stated above.

    e. Meets requirements of all other applicable ordinances, regulations and reviewing agencies.

    f. A utility easement document number be included as part of the CSM

    Second by Commissioner Salemi

    Motion carried 5-0.

    Presentation: Historic Preservation Ordinance and how it affects the Planning & Zoning Commission. No action needed.

    Adjournment

    Motion by Commissioner Thomson to adjourn at 7:28p.m.

    Second by Commissioner Magray.

    Motion carried 6-0.
