MINUTES
CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Committee Chair, Al Stachura called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm
Committee members present were: Al Stachura, Mary Steffen, Dan McQuillan, Jackie Arndt, & Sheri Worth.
Committee members absent were: None
Staff present were: Steve Dunks, Zoning Administrator & Graham Callis, Community Development Director.
APPROVE AGENDA
Motion by McQuillan to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Steffen, motion carried 5-0.
APPROVE MINUTES FROM: January 9, 2008
Motion by McQuillan to approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Arndt, motion carried 5-0.
PUBLIC FORUM (non-agenda items): Anything, which may be brought before the Design Review Committee, for which no referral shall be made or action shall be taken.

ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION AND ACTION:
a. Site, lighting & building plan review for Lamers Bus for 1934 Cardinal Lane, SU-758-12. Located on the east side of Cardinal Lane, north of Garden Lane (Heartland Church site). Zoned Public Lands & Institutions.
Mark Nysted, Cory VandeWettering, & Rob Foytik, all from Keller were present for Lamers.
Motion by McQuillan to approve with the following conditions:
Split face stone wainscoting.
Light stone steel color.
Bronze trim.
Berm to be installed around bus parking lot.
All cutoff lighting.
Consider rein garden plantings around pond.
Second by Steffen, motion carried 4-0 with Stachura abstaining.
STAFF UPDATE ON THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION ORDINANCE
Graham presented the proposed ordinance to the committee as an FYI.

Motion by Steffen to adjourn the meeting at 6:55 pm, second by Arndt, motion carried 5-0
