The Village of Suamico staff consists of the following departments:
  • Administrator - the Administrator oversees all operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Animal Control - Suamico contracts out and shares an animal control officer with other neighboring communities.
  • Assessor - the office of the Assessor is responsible for handling the annual maintenance of the assessments of all properties in Suamico. 
  • Building Inspection/Zoning - oversees all construction projects within Suamico for compliance with required codes.  The Zoning Department is responsible for the enforcement of Chapters 16-20 of the Municipal Code.
  • Clerk - in addition to keeping the records from all meetings, the office of the clerk is also responsible for issuing all permits (with the exception of building permits), issuing licenses and running elections.
  • Community Development
  • Court - handles traffic and municipal ordinance citations. 
  • Finance - the finance department oversees the daily money operations for the village.  In addition to accounts payables, accounts receivables and payroll, the finance department is responsible for facilitating the creation of the annual budget.
  • Fire - currently the Suamico Fire Department is volunteer paid on call.
  • Police - we contract our police services through the Brown County Sheriff's Office
  • Public Works/Engineering - among other various responsibilities of this department, public works and engineering is responsible for maintaining the roadways via plowing or repairs.
  • Recreation & Parks - responsible for the creation of all recreation programs and maintenance of all parks.
  • Utility - maintains the village water and sewer utilities.
