ORDINANCE NO. 2007-26

AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 14.06(1) OF CHAPTER14,

FIRE DEPARTMENT, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE

VILLAGE OF SUAMICO RELATING TO REIMBURSEMENT

SCHEDULE FOR FIRE CALLS ON INTERSTATE, FEDERAL, OR STATE HIGHWAYS

SECTION 1. 14.06(1) REIMBURSEMENT SCHEDULE FOR FIRE CALLS ON STATE HIGHWAYS. 1. The Village of Suamico will charge responsible individuals or companies for responding to a fire call on any Interstate, Federal or State Trunk Highway or Highway maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The fire call charges are set forth in the Village of Suamico Fire Department Reimbursement Form which is attached hereto and made part of this Ordinance.

A fire call is defined to include but not limited to the Village of Suamico Fire Department responding with Department equipment to any and all vehicle accidents, extinguishing or attempting to extinguish a fire, hazardous material incidents and natural disasters.

SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption and publication.
